New Plant in India

The Indian Company Chloride Metals Ltd (100% subsidiary company of India’s No.1 Battery manufacturer, M/s Exide Industries Ltd.) awarded Engitec of a contract for the supply of a complete used lead acid battery recycling plant to be installed in their new factory in Haldia.

The new plant, suitable to process more than 60.000 t/year of lead-acid batteries, includes some of the most recent technology developments achieved by Engitec thus allowing Chloride Mtelas Ltd to setup new high environmental standard in compliance with the most strict regulations.
