New Lead Batteries Recycling Plant in Sweden

Engitec is underway to provide Boliden Bergsöe with the new plant suitable to process more than 700 t/day of lead-acid batteries to be installed at the smelter of Landskrona.

The plant will allow the company to recover the polypropylene as saleable product that will help to increase the overall degree of batteries recycling.
